- Stabilization of the power grid due to VFD starting of the motor, power factor correction.
- Reconstruction of the High Concentration Refiner: replacement of 3 MW DOL motor with a 6 MW regulated drive (Perfect Harmony GH180) and a 5 MW medium voltage water-cooled motor.
- Installation of a new frequency-regulated Turbo blower: 1.5 MW regulated drive (Perfect Harmony GH180) with 1.5 MW medium voltage asynchronous motor.
- This solution improved product quality, reduced energy consumption, increased production flexibility, and ensured stable power supply through smooth and reliable drive starts.
- The entire system has an efficiency of more than 96.5%, which is a significant improvement in the previous solution and therefore leads to a reduction in electricity consumption.

The solution: Medium voltage full load converter with cell bypass
The medium voltage converter type Perfect Harmony GH180 is equipped with a cell bypass, which enables, in the event of a single cell failure, uninterrupted further operation of the driven machine, and still enables 100% power at the output, which increases the availability of the complete system. By implementing this solution, the end user has responded to market demands by offering a better-quality product, reducing power consumption, optimizing its process and stabilizing the power supply. It also ensures long-term reliability and maintenance, as the use of the cell bypass that maintenance only takes place during overhaul work, increasing availability and further reducing the payback period.

Our solutions in action
Perfect Harmony GH180 offers cell bypass, also a redundant fan system, so the stops of the operation of the machine are reduced to an absolute minimum. The Perfect Harmony GH180 is equipped with its own isolating transformer with a multiple secondars, so a "perfect" sinusoid is obtained at the output and the influence on the mains supply is minimal.
