Innovation at Innomotics starts well before any product hits the market. It starts with listening closely and understanding our customers’ needs. Years ahead of a major turbine replacement, our engineers engaged deeply with clients to explore high-speed induction motor technology and high-power drive system and site, comparing options and uncovering insights. When the opportunity arrived, we weren’t just prepared, we were trusted partners. That motor and drive system and site now run at high speed in a critical process, backed by years of preparation and collaboration.
In another case, a customer faced voltage instability that threatened to trip a key pump offline. Their existing drive couldn’t adapt. Ours could. We engineered a multi-cell drive with voltage ride-through capabilities that kept torque stable even as supply dipped. The solution wasn’t off-the-shelf, it was built through teamwork and deep technical insight.
Reliability means standing up, not stepping back
When one of our Medium Voltage Drives failed prematurely in a tough environment, the first repair wasn’t the end of the story. After a second failure, we recognized it was our responsibility – not the customer’s. So, we acted decisively: we replaced the unit with a stronger, more resilient drive, absorbed the cost, and ensured it performed flawlessly thereafter. Today, that drive has become the trusted standard for the customer. We didn’t just promise reliability; we proved it through accountability and results.
Engineering that adapts to reality
Offshore platforms demand corrosion-resistant materials. Refineries require motors that meet stringent specifications. We don’t just meet these needs – we sit down with customers, review evolving requirements, and adapt our designs accordingly.
Our motors and drives are built to meet demanding standards with minimal exceptions. While others offer compliance with caveats, we deliver it as default. That’s not just engineering; it’s understanding the industry and building for it.
Trust is earned in the tough moments
When challenges arise, some suppliers deflect. We engage. Early communication, transparent options, and a commitment to solutions define how we handle setbacks. That’s why our customers often specify our motors and drives even when purchasing through third-party OEMs. It’s not about ticking off a checklist; it’s about cultivating trust. As one team member put it: "You need the courage to own the problems. That’s the foundation of our customers’ trust."
Teamwork that spans continents
