Ready for IE4... and beyond

In accordance with the European energy efficiency regulations, since July 1st, 2023 it is required to meet the IE4 energy efficiency class for defined electric motor ratings. Not only that we make your migration to IE4 in the mandatory range as understandable and simple as possible, we also explain why it is beneficial to upgrade to IE4 class even outside it.

Innomotics low voltage motors fulfill the IE4 efficiency class

Ecodesign regulation (EU) 2019/1781, 2nd step

With this 2nd step coming into force, a new requirement has been set: Low voltage electric motors with 2-6 poles and with rated power 75-200 kW have to fulfill the IE4 energy efficiency class, as defined by the IEC 60034-30-1 standard. This is applicable to safe area motors only – which means motors without explosion protection.
