Repsol's path to sustainable electrification
Repsol Industrial Complex in Puertollano has set a goal of zero net emissions by 2050.
They collaborated with Innomotics (former Siemens Large Drives) to replace a steam turbine with an Innomotics HV HS-modyn electric motor.
With that, they have achieved a CO2 reduction of about 68,000 tons per year and approximately a 25% reduction in energy consumption.
